Applied sociology is ‘solution-focused sociology, analysing and intervening to address, resolve or improve everyday real-world situations, problems and interactions practically and creatively’. This web site describes the work of the BSA Applied Sociology group in developing applied sociology, and is the portal for UK sociologists to read and download the group’s Curriculum in Applied Sociology.
